Homesharing
Since most affordable apartments come with lengthy waiting lists, we often advise folks to look into homesharing, which means renting a room from a homeowner. You can search for rooms to rent on various web sites and newspaper ads. Another good resource is St. Ambros Homeshare, an agency which pairs roommates together based on an interview and background check process in the Baltimore County and Baltimore City areas.
