Did you know Medicaid renewal is not automatic this year?
Open enrollment begins on November 1, 2023, and ends on January 15, 2024. You will receive a notice from Maryland Health Connection in the mail, or in your account if you chose paperless when it’s time to renew. It is important to make sure your information is current and accurate. Everyone will not be up for renewal at the same time. You will have 45 days to respond once you get your notification. Read your notice carefully; it will tell you to complete your renewal or let you know if you are no longer eligible for Medicaid coverage. If your Medicaid ends, you will have 120 days to reapply. If you are still eligible, you will need to submit documentation.
